The last week or so, I have had the flu and have been primarily stuck in bed. I was feeling better earlier on in the week, but yesterday was a particularly crap day. Such a shame too, because it was so warm out. It was also rainy, though. I must confess, even though there is a shed right smack outside my window, the angle that the house sits gives me some of the most beautiful colours outside this window! When it was raining, the sun kept peeking out, particularly close to sunset. The sky turned bright orange and the water was catching on the branches. Oh, that would have made for some beautiful pictures.

Alas, that was not meant to be. My brother had the camera! Of all days ...

Well, it certainly won't be the last day like that. As far as art goes, I have been lacking in the area of prolific due to circumstances of life just swamping me down. I'm quite new to photography anyway and wouldn't even really call it a hobby, but as the weather gets nicer and I get to going more places, I am gonna be taking the camera along.

I look forward to getting back to normal, better and getting back to the things I love to do.
